Venerable Tashi Lama
Geshe of Buddhist Philosophy
Ven. Tashi Lama joined Sera Jey Monastery in 1995 and completed the Five Major Treatises by 2014. He earned an MPhil in Buddhist Philosophy in 2019 and completed a tantric year at Gyuto Monastery with specialization in mandala practice. He has served as a member of the monastic assembly since 2022 and has joined foreign tours to Vietnam, Taiwan, and Laos. In 2024 he was elected to lead Lawa Khangtsen for a three-year term.
His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama encouraged Geshe Tashi Lama and the team of six to reach into the global community through this World Peace Tour.
